2013–14 Faculty Awards

Davíd Carrasco was named Alumnus of the Year by the University of Chicago Divinity School for his scholarship on Mesoamerican religions and for his leading interdisciplinary work in the history of religions. He was also voted Favorite Professor of the Class of 2014 by Harvard College.
Karen King won the Horace Mann Medal from Brown University Graduate School for significant contributions in her field. She also delivered the graduate School Horace Mann Medalist Forum "Was Jesus Married? Early Christian Controversies over Marriage, Celibacy, and Salvation."
Laura Nasrallah was named a Henry Luce III Fellow in Theology for the 2013–14 academic year by the Henry Luce Foundation, which supports creative and innovative research in religion and theology.
