HDS communications reached out to our 2021 graduating students to hear from them in their own words about their experiences at HDS, the people who've helped and inspired them along their grad school journeys, and their plans for the future.

How I've Changed

Thanks to my education at Dartmouth College, I became more aware of the issues impacting communities throughout the world. Thanks to HDS, I have gained the tools and confidence to address them. I also have a better understanding of what I believe and feel more comfortable expressing my views with others. And now I can read German!

What I Hope to Be Remembered By

I believe that every interaction and conversation impacts people in some way, whether large or small. I have learned so much from the unique knowledge and perspectives of the HDS community, and I hope that I have had some positive impact on others and added to their experience here as well. It was an honor to found and lead HDS’s Spanish conversation group with my friend and classmate Maeve Hammond, and I am very grateful for the new friends I made through this group.
