Alumni & Friends

HDS alumni make a difference in the world by serving others—at times in ways that are unseen, yet vital to progress. It is through their work that the Divinity School has its most direct impact on the lives of people around the globe.

Gomes Honors

Each year, the Alumni/Alumnae Council recognizes graduates whose excellence in life, work, and service pays homage to the mission and values of the Harvard Divinity School. The award honors the late Reverend Peter J. Gomes, STB ’68, who served HDS for four decades as a distinguished faculty member and the Pusey Minister of Memorial Church.
