What is the minimum TOEFL/IELTS score?

As a condition of admission, all international applicants whose native language is not English, or who did not receive their baccalaureate degree from an institution where English is the sole language of instruction, must take the TOEFL or IELTS. MDiv, MTS, MRPL, and Visiting Student applicants must receive a score of:

• Tests taken before January 21, 2026: 100 or higher
• Tests taken after January 21, 2026: 5.0 or higher

ThM applicants must receive a score of:

• Tests taken before January 21, 2026: 105 or higher
• Tests taken after January 21, 2026: 5.5 or higher

The required minimum IELTS scores are as follows:

• MDiv, MTS, MRPL, and Visiting Student applicants must receive a score of 7.5 or higher.
• ThM applicants must receive a score of 8 or higher.
