HDS encourages all students to seek support from outside funding sources. Please be sure to check the sponsoring organizations' websites for application dates, keeping in mind that the deadlines may have already passed for the current academic year. Unless noted, scholarship and grant applications should be submitted directly to the organization sponsoring them. The Office of Financial Aid maintains only a fraction of the material available on finding outside scholarship and fellowship support. Many local libraries contain written and online directories of organizations that offer fellowship possibilities. If students ascribe to a particular faith tradition, they may also find that their denomination or church may be a possible financing source.
