Profile

Chris Berlin is the denominational counselor to Buddhist students and Instructor in Ministry and Pastoral Counseling at Harvard Divinity School. Berlin previously served as an interfaith chaplain at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where he received extensive experience teaching meditation and mindfulness to both patients and clinicians.

Berlin’s teaching interests involve developing clinical training for Buddhists in care-giving roles and interfaith chaplaincy. He also frequently offers meditation classes and workshops in the Boston area.

Berlin has a degree in Buddhist and Hindu religions from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has studied and practiced in both Vipassana and the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
